Keeping Fit

Keeping fit goes a long way to make you happy and live a healthy life.
By staying fit and healthy you not only look and feel better but you decrease your chance of medical problems. There are a few ways to stay healthy and keep fit without having to join a gym.

Start jogging /walking:  these are activities that keep your muscle active and your blood flowing, simply come up with a walking/jogging routine, that fits your schedule, (ie  weekends 6 am and week days 6pm or 7pm). Go out of your way and walk more, walk short distances, walk to school, walk down your street. You should jog at least a kilometre to keep the fat off.

Exercise at home: Not everyone has the time and money to go to the gym, working out at home is very easy and can be very beneficial. Some home exercises include SIT-UPS and PUSH-UPS.

Eat Healthy: Maintaining a balanced diet can be difficult to do if you do not have the time to cook for yourself every day, You will find that maintaining a healthy and balanced diet can increase energy and productivity, which also boost your metabolism and make you a happier person because you will be consuming the nutrients and vitamins your body needs. Eat lots of protein foods e.g  Beans ,soya beans ,egg etc. Eat lots of vegetables and fruits , note that these fruits and vegetables should be fresh.

Drink a lot of water: The human body is made of about 50-65% of water, and you need to keep replenishing it. Your body sweats a lot of that water so you need to put it back in. If you are exercising you will need to increase the amount of water intake to replenish what you are sweating out.

Believe and set goals for yourself:  Do not care what other people think. If you are determined and believe that you can achieve your goal of staying fit then you can! Know that feeling and strive to reach that goal every day.
